Wedding Festivities – Javanese Style

It took a while but we were finally invited to a Javanese wedding! Our good friend and neighbor Pak Jono’s niece was getting married just down the street. Her father is dead so Pak Jono was standing in for him at the ceremony. We had a great time but left with a lot of questions (many still unanswered!) about the ceremony.
